Lately, I’ve been doing a lot of e-mailing rather than commenting, and I’ve got to say, I like it!

When to E-mail

E-mail is private. When you don’t want the world knowing your business, but you have a question, this is the way to do it.

E-mail is quick and direct. It is likely the blogger will see the e-mail before the comment. So if you want to alert the blogger to something urgent (i.e. your comments are broken) that’s the way to do it.

When to Comment

Comments are public. You want everyone to read it. This is good if you are adding information the readers of the blog might find useful.

Why I’m writing this

Please, bloggers, include an e-mail so we can tell you about stuff privately.
